Guild for Service implements a strategy to provide some protection to 5000 elderly widows through distribution of nutritional and health supplements and protective masks  Project launch 3rd July 2020 at Vrindavan covering ashrams ,shelter homes ,villages, and congregation

This is in continuation with the Guild’s efforts to give dignity to old age

"Guild is doing a distribution drive across the Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu&Kashmir and Delhi, by providing essential supplies of ration to needy families , along with providing face masks made by the mother of shelter home and students of vocational training centres .
Guild has been giving food to the needy individuals and families amid coronavirus outbreak. We identified households which are in desperate need of help -- like families of garland makers, waste collectors etcetera. However, their food services have been affected by the strict lockdown in Vrindavan."

As we observe the international widows today let us pray for peace and harmony all over the world. Our efforts in empowering the underprivileged has made a difference in the lives of many  Yet conflicts wars natural disasters pandemics are adding to the burgeoning number of widows in the world. On becoming a widow It is not just the loss of husband but  it is the loss of dignity a woman looses through cultural ostracisation social marginalisation and economic.Efforts made by the Government of India, Supreme Court of India and several international alliances like The Last Woman First, regional alliances like SANWED, many civil society organisations across the world that we have been able to achieve  the following
Bringing the international focus on the issue of widows and widowhood
Factorising their issue  to national policies and programs .
We have also reached out to several of the families of our brave martyrs to let them know that our close association is always with them. In honouring them we observe this international widows day today. we also ensure the  dignity of women is there....................
